History:
Although most guests at the zoo aren’t allowed to play with all the different baby animals, we can make an exception for you! Did you know that many zoos actually have rehabilitation and repopulation programs in addition to their normal functions? In other words, many zoos take in endangered or vulnerable species and do their best to have them mate in an attempt to strengthen their numbers and give them a fighting chance. That’s why you often see so many baby animals at the zoo!
