The Detail Modeler's Essential Adhesive
Thick, No-Run Formula: Unlike standard thin glues, Tuft-Tac® stays exactly where you put it. This allows you to create raised "blobs" that perfectly mimic the clumpy growth patterns of wild grass.
High Initial Tack: It grabs fibers instantly, making it perfect for standing Field Grass (FG series) or Static Grass fibers upright without them falling over while the glue sets.
Pre-Make or Apply Direct: You can use Tuft-Tac® to create "Peel 'n' Place" style tufts on a non-stick surface to be moved later, or apply it directly to your layout for permanent detail.
Dries Clear & Matte: Once fully cured, the adhesive disappears, leaving only the realistic vertical structure of your grass visible.
Field System™ Optimized: Formulated specifically to bond with all Field System™ materials, including Static Grass (2mm-12mm) and Briar Patch.
How to Create the Perfect Custom Tuft
The Drop: Place a small dot of Tuft-Tac® onto a piece of wax paper or directly onto your layout.
The Application: * Manual: Take a pinch of Field Grass (long fibers) and press the ends into the glue.
Static: Use your Static King® to apply fibers over the glue dots.
The Finish: Once the glue is dry, peel the tuft off the wax paper (if pre-making) and place it on your layout with a tiny drop of fresh glue or Scenic Cement.
Pro Tip: Use Tuft-Tac® to add "weedy" patches in the middle of a short-grass field for a convincing, unkempt appearance.
